On 9th December 2019, our firm was invited to attend the first Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Bay Area Exchange Session held by the Nansha provincial government. During the exchange session, Mr. Stanley Chan, Partner of our firm, jointly signed a Partnership Agreement of Joint Venture Firm (“Partnership Agreement”) with the representatives of Guangdong Kingbridge Law Firm and Kuong Iok Kao Law Firm of Macau SAR.
Through the signing of the Partnership Agreement, our firm will set up a joint venture law firm with Guangdong Kingbridge Law Firm and Macau SAR Kuong Iok Kao Law Firm in the Nansha Development Zone. In recent years, the Justice Bureau of Nansha has been proactively promoting mutual co-operation of legal services among cities in the Greater Bay Area. After the establishment of the joint venture law firm, our firm will strive to seize such opportunity and assist corporations in Hong Kong, Macau and foreign countries to invest in Nansha and also the whole GBA by providing efficient cross-border legal services.
